Horsetooth Mountain Open Space- Hiking

This Spring Michael and I decided to hike all of the trails in Horsetooth Mountain Open Space. We made some plans, and we want to share for others who might consider hiking the whole park as well. There are 29 miles of trail, but in order to hike it all, it will take much more than 29 miles. Actually it will be 65.7 miles of hiking total with the way it is broken into 11 hikes of 8 miles or less each. There are 4 trailheads used. Not all of the trails have close access to a trailhead, so some trails will be used more than once. If a trail is not underlined, then it is simply being used to get to the underlined trail and is not the main focus of the hike. If a trail is underlined then make sure to hike the whole thing with the exception of Spring Creek Trail which is broken into 2 parts. The division of the 2 parts of Spring Creek trail is at the top of the Horsetooth Falls. Be prepared, and have fun!
