If I could go back in time and do it all over...

I would not spank my children.

I would rock my children to sleep instead of letting them cry themselves to sleep.

There is nothing more important in a child's life than love and kindness.

Michael and Jana learn in a chemical, instinctual way.  They do not require "the foolishness" to be beaten out of them.  They are already perfect.  Though Michael would argue that "no human is perfect," and as a matter of fact Matt just found a very old piece of pie in Michael's backpack.

They are perfect.
